Fabulous way of putting it, tots. Having affirming people around you makes it easier to be free and grow your confidence. I know that my shyness about being atheist is quickly falling away since meeting inspiring people and talking to them during the day.

I completely agree with everything you said!! My facebook is FULL of old friends from boarding school & church and I hide my godlessness to prevent the spiritual tongue lashings, but on Twitter it's no holds barred! We may not ever meet at mansions in the sky, but sharing my lack of faith with other non-believers is a great source of strength and comfort. I don't believe and that's ok, and I'm not alone. I'm not earnestly praying, waiting & hoping for an answer. I'm tweetin it up and getting a clue.
