I’ve made a few small changes to the site template, and one is to correct a few RSS feed urls. Now that all is right in the world, make sure you’re subscribed to the correct one!

There are now two ways to follow updates on godlessgirl.com: RSS and Email! Click below to select your favorite.

Subscribe with RSSrssemail

And now a question for the masses: Do you follow blogs via feed reader (like Google Reader) or do you use another method like Twitter or email?

Don’t forget to love on someone today!

Usually planetatheism, followed by Twitter and, when I remember, feeds.

Yeah, I'm lazy.

    godlessgirl · July 23, 2009 at 6:37 pm

it's too bad planetatheism hasn't been updated in a long time. Last blog post was in 2008 about a standstill. :/

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same one. The one I mean is a blog aggregator with about 30-50 or so new posts a day…

James Tracy · July 23, 2009 at 5:50 pm

I used to use Google Reader until I found myself on Twitter more often and clicking over to blog posts from there. Now I use the (shameful promotion ahead) blog feed aggregator on my own site for blogs that I like to read (http://www.anatheist.net/buzz/blogs/). Did I put you in there? *clicks over* Okay, yes I did πŸ™‚

That is such a great tool, James. I'm so curious how you set that up! and thank you for adding me; I appreciate that πŸ™‚

godlessgirl · July 23, 2009 at 11:04 pm

Oh, the posts of the current blogs update, sure! But I guess new submissions haven't updated since 2008. I kinda wanted to submit mine πŸ™‚

Google Reader, here. It's shiny. Things like Twitter make a nice intro point for finding new blogs (like links through Global Atheist).

    godlessgirl · July 23, 2009 at 11:26 pm

Yeah, that's a definite plus. I wouldn't have discovered so many great bloggers without twitter!

Ben · July 24, 2009 at 1:32 am

RSS feeds all the way, there's no other option that even stacks up.

Rooker · July 24, 2009 at 4:23 am

I use FeedReader. Every now and then my stupid ISP decides to wreck my connection, so I end up spending most of the day reading blogs in my reader while waiting for the internet to work again.

Stephen Moore · July 24, 2009 at 5:26 am

I read blogs via the FF add-on Brief.

I don't use use Twitter for anything. Haven't caught that particular bug yet.

amemur · July 26, 2009 at 2:13 am

I use Google Reader and I love it! I daily have more than a 1000 posts to read from several sites (yours included), and of course I cannot read them all, but it keeps me informed about who's posting and about what.

Jin-oh Choi · July 27, 2009 at 11:32 am

I use RSS to follow youur blog, as you are on my links on my blog. lol πŸ™‚

But I stalk you on Twitter. lol πŸ™‚

    godlessgirl · July 27, 2009 at 5:14 pm

Just please don't stalk me from a bush by my house, mkay? lol

      Jin-oh Choi · July 27, 2009 at 10:13 pm

But what will i do with my night vision binoculars? lol πŸ™‚
