Is life too noisy?

Not everything in life is about baby eating and orgies to pagan gods (or is it?). Sometimes we need to spread some practical love around the internet to make life better for everyone! Here’s my tip of the day:

Loud neighbors? Trouble sleeping? Road construction? Nagging spouse?  Then have I got the solution for you! Free white noise from SimplyNoise.com to help mask the outside world and bring you peace of mind. You can use the online generator (which includes oscillating noise if you prefer a soothing rhythm) or download the files for your iTunes or Windows Media Player.

I plan on using this tonight to add some noise to the dreary silence that is suburban living. Enjoy!

An Atheist’s Bedtime Prayer

I’m heading to bed for the night, and I thought I’d leave you with my revised version of a classic children’s prayer from the 18th century:

Now I lay me down to sleep.
Or toss and turn while counting sheep.
If I die before I wake
The funeral should have milkshakes.

Sweet dreams!
